On the 13th of September Steve is apearing at the Lowry. Click here for more information how to book.
May I first say thank you for taking an interest in me and my career in comedy, unless of course you are mistaking me for Steve Royle the famous Oxford Rower in which case you are going to be sadly disappointed at the lack of boat, oar and river references on these pages. (I managed to avoid any smutty “Cox” jokes there did you notice. I can’t help admiring the sacrifices to their sport those Coxless pairs make though, makes my eyes water!)
Seriously though I hope you find the web site informative and enjoyable and please let me know what you think on my guest page.
Cheers,
Steve
Well, “About time” I hear you cry. Needless to say it’s been a busy few months. Hence the huge delay in updating my web site.
Firstly, thanks to all those who came to my solo show in the Manchester Comedy festival, I had a great night and can also announce I will be doing an even bigger and even better “Supporting Myself” at The Lowry Theatre in Salford on 13 th Sept this year, details
Pantomime at the grand was the best yet, I thought, and all the fellow cast members were lovely to work with. Special thanks to Ray Meagher (“Alf Stewart”) for also doing links for my radio show.
I’m back again at The Grand Blackpool at the end of this year for my 5 th consecutive panto “Sleeping Beauty”, so book early!
Just got back from some great gigs in Hong Kong. Had a suit made whilst I was there and so if you happen to wonder why I’m wearing Electric Blue with Pink lining at any future gigs you know why. Comedian John Bishop bought one at the same time and when we both tried them on we looked like a classic 70’s double act (Look out for “Bing & Bong” at a social club near you soon!! – Slaughterhouse-live’s “Knockers and Cocks” will of course be headlining!)
I’m about to start warm-ups on…wait for it….classic telly in the making…………….”Soapstar Superchef”. Goes out live every night at 5pm for the next month- be afraid……be very afraid!
Other gigs coming up are now on my “future gigs” page (Clever eh?)
Also don’t forget you can tune in on line to my radio show every Saturday morning 9 til 12. Join the fun on
All the best & Cheers
